Under the laws governing health, safety and welfare at work, specifically, every employer is obligated to provide a safe place of work. While a worker is in a conventional work situation, this is less difficult a task, but anything outside the norm is brought with risk, of which the employer is ultimately liable.

When a worker begins work they can choose their location, either manually or via a location specific QR code. The system lets them know if they are in fact working alone or with others. If they are alone- a countdown begins. The countdown timer is client specific. If the worker is OK at the end of the timer, they acknowledge this, or if they need assistance at any point, this is available to them while logged on, its that simple!

This system utilises the workers own phone via a client and worker specific APP, which allows the worker to log in and out as required, to different areas or locations, with a pre-determined amount of time set for the worker to acknowledge their presence, and indicate that everything is OK

Under Health and Safety at Work Act 2005, every Employer is obligated to provide and maintain a safe workplace, and the additional measures imposed by the duty of care common law.

This is obviously easier in some settings, but increasingly more difficult in most others. Work Safer Now Addresses this requirement, and in connection with company policy offers a layer of protection previously unavailable.

In fact, any situation that causes any staff to be alone in any area, will benefit from this new, user friendly technology.

HUMAN RESOURCES

The system continues to work in the background, and staff need to understand that the system will force an escalation if the staff fails to contact their supervisor or monitoring station to avoid this action.

No system will ever remove the external risks, but this system will assist in the safety and welfare of the worker, but in the unfortunate situation where something does go wrong, our dedicated monitoring station will be there 24/7/365 days to react accordingly.
